様々な形態で共演してきた津田貴司（electric guitar）と林香織（accordion）は、2016年末デュオ・ユニット「星形の庭」として演奏活動を開始。現代音楽や映画音楽からのヒントを呼吸に基づいた演奏として提示する。2019年『breath and breadth』リリース後、林亨（violin）が加入し、トリオ編成となる。2020年、トリオ編成での新作アルバム『距離を含んだ色彩について』リリース。
